Competition Introduction
Hankook Tire finished first at the Asian Le Mans series held at Okayama, Japan. Hankook Farnbacher Team (Ferrari F430 GT) which finished third at the 2009 Europe Le Mans Series and Hankook Porsche Team (Porsche 911 GT3) which won the Super GT race in Japan, participated in the GT2 class race. Hankook Farnbacher Team took home the victory cup thanks to superior driving and tire technology while Hankook Porsche Team came in at a respectable fourth place.

The Asian Le Mans series is an Asian sports car racing endurance series created by the French Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). It is the successor to the defunct Japan Le Mans Challenge which folded in 2007 after its second season.

The Asian Le Mans series was held as part of the World Touring Car Championship. Divided into four classes, the winners of each class automatically win an invitation to the 2010 Le Mans 24 hour race. The victory at Asian Le Mans proves Hankook Tire's technological excellence and also awards Hankook Farnbacher Team with the opportunity to compete at next year's Le Mans 24 hour race in France.
